When we present mathematical ideas to ``children'' -- in the very wide
sense of ``people who don't have the mathematical maturity to
understand abstract structures from their definitions only'' and
``people who prefer to start from concrete examples and then
generalize'' -- we often prove things first in particular cases, and
then generalize. The methods behind generalizing are far from trivial,
though.

Particularizing a general case is easy, and can be done mainly by
substituting variables. Particularizing drops information and may
collapse objects that were initially distinct;
