In the late 90's the TV version of "Manufacturing Consent" was
broadcast in three parts in Brazil by TVE (Televisão Educativa), with
very good subtitles in Brazilian Portuguese. This is a conversion to
AVI of the conversion to DVD of a VHS recording of that broadcast -
the image quality is far from great, and same for the sound.

WE NEED TO CONVERT THESE SUBTITLES TO ".srt" OR SOME OTHER EQUIVALENT
MODERN FORMAT. And this needs to be done by hand - it seems - because
the quality of the VHS is not good enough to let OCRs work reliably.
If you would like to help - or if you just want access to the parts
that we have done so far - please visit:

Cheers! =)

P.S.: yes, I did notice that there is a PT-BR .srt for Manufacting
Consent floating around... but it - or its current version - is =(-ish
to say the least.
